What are dealers currently offering for trade in vehicles?

I am looking to trade in a car that I have and am upside down on for a new car. My KBB value says about 16.5K in excellent condition and it is. I ower like 23K...I am trying to see how true to KBB are dealers right about now. I was hoping to be closer to 20K on what they woudl give me for the trade in.
