Why is it that people think that eating dogs is disgusting & cruel when pigs are even smarter than them?

One must consider that cultures are different, and in order to adapt to one's environment, one must do what is necessary. For example, I know for a fact that Asian countries (usually) don't have the resources necessary in order to have what the U.S. has - Asians eat, over in Asia, things like crickets, and various other bugs (on which I will avoid further detail) roasted. Guess what? There would be people that would say the same thing (the whole "being in disgust" deal). Guess what? In India, there exists not one hamburger due to religious beliefs ( a href="http://www.indiamarks.com/guide/What-You-Can-and-Can-t-Get-at-McDonalds-India-/1739/" rel="nofollow"http://www.indiamarks.com/guide/What-You…/a ). Indians would probably say the same that the Mongolians did.
