CAN I USE CHILD SUPPORT AS EXTRA INCOME ON AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT FOR ADJ. OF STATUS FROM K-1 VISA?

Yes you can and I did. I included a copy of the divorce papers with the custody and child support order. I also included copy of the court ordered withholding doent that showed where they garnished my husbands paycheck for the child support and copy of several check stubs from the child support checks I received over the last year. It does not show that you will be using the child support to support the immigrant. You have to show that you have enough money to support who you already have in the household (your children) and that your other money will go to support the immigrant. Good luck!
