Plain heroines in novels ? HELP!?

i read a lot of books ,especially romance ,but the appearances of the heroines are always the same beautiful and perfect and frankly i am getting sick of it so if you have any recommendations about REALLY plain heroines i would be happy to hear them and please NOT the kind where the heroine hides her beauty behind gles or frumpy cloths but is physically plain and also not the kind where she undergoes some major makeover, thanks in advance .
