I'm having friend problems..?

I've been through 2 or 3 best friends in my entire life. (I'm 20) Well, my last best friend and I started becoming friends in 9th grade and continued on until the end of this summer. We were really close. Talked about personal stuff, got tattoos together (not of the same thing, just together) spent almost all of our time together. During this summer though, she changed a lot. She started going to college and I hadn't. She sometimes acts as though she is better than me because of that. In the summer though, she would constantly put my family and I down. I know she was going through some really tough situations (grandma having cancer ..and her aunt killed her uncle tragically) ..anyway, she started being really rude to me even before that. So, I confronted her on it, in a VERY nice way and she stopped talking to me. She acted as though it was no big deal. I told her it hurt my feelings. Anyway, a couple months later she sent me a myspace message apologizing and I accepted it. We talked for 2 days after that and then she stopped talking with me. She asked if she could go shopping with me on Black Friday and I said sure! But she never texted me back later and basically blew me off. I tried talking to her once since then and she hasn't replied. What's the deal? And she's sort of acting immature, making her status on myspace "Going to have so much fun this weekend, etc, etc." I think she is trying to brag? ..I'm not sure. Should I try talking to her again or just leave it be?
