Insect bite or skin condition?

Last week when I woke up I had about three itchy red bumps on my rear end near the right hip, a couple near the left hip, and one on my back near my armpit. I haven't been bitten since then. I'm 16, and I had my hearing checked about 2 years ago, because I needed things to be loud to be able to hear them properly. I could hear them when quiet, but couldn't understand them, even though everyone else could. Audiologist said my hearing was normal. Now I am having even more problems, especially if there is back ground noise, like in restaurants or clrooms. The Buffy episode Normal Again?

In this episode- buffy is injected by a demon that causes hallucinations that she is in a mental clinic. Later in the episode we learn she was actually institutionalized before the show started. At the end of this episode, buffy is in the hospital and that buffy completely gives in to the hallucinations. In the other reality she snaps out of it- kills the demon and saves the day. the problem here is that at the VERY end of the episode, it flashes back to the hospital and the doctors say something like "shes gone". alright, unless you live in compton you won't need the bricks. you need to apply as much pressure as possible but if you slit your throat, then there's little hope. if you sever the artery near your tricep, you have to apply a LOT of pressure or you will lose blood quick. if you slit your wrist, you should be fine, just apply pressure and get it patched up. there is also an artery in your forearm, pressure again. vital organs, all pressure but it depends. if the cuts too big and the artery too important, there isn't much chance. but relax, i doubt you'll be severing an artery.

I was induced due to preeclampsia as well. My membranes were ruptured by the doctor, and it doesn't hurt at all. Striping your membranes may be uncomfortable, but only slightly more so than the doctor checking to see how dilated you are. I really wouldn't worry about it. My doctor didn't even strip my membranes - we just went straight to cervadil then pitocin to get labour going.

Is my doctor doing his job?

I am 35 weeks pregnant and last wednesday I was admitted to hospital for possible preeclampsia. I had a bunch of blood tests as well as 24 hour urine test. My urine protein was 171, it has to be 300 to be preeclampsia. I was checked in the hospital with 167/112 BP. The doctor put me on medication and after 2 days at the hospital I was sent home on bedrest. My friend who is a nurse came by today and gave me a blood pressure machine to test my BP. I was feeling fine but decided to check it. My BP at 4:00 was 150/98, at 5:30 it was 151/108. I called the doctor and told him. He did not seem concerned about it, he told me to double my medication from 100mg of Lebatalol to 200mg. I took my BP at 6:30 it was 136/107. I was feeling more relaxed for this reading and my husband actually took all my readings and would not tell me what they were till later. He did not want to tell me because he knew it would just make my blood pressure higher. So my doctor's appt is wednesday. Does anyone else think that this is a big deal? I do.

Well it all started suddenly...I was healthy and i went to sleep and I woke up the other morning early at 7 o'clock because I couldn't breath...That was on the 24th of April...Then my nose was runny for 3 days and suddenly on the 27th of April as i was at college i couldn't breath again.But this time it was more severe...so I went to the doctors...they gave me what they gave an infusion and prescribe me antibiotics...I had a high level of white blood cells...and also some distractions in my lungs.So then it was really hard breathing for a few days and they made gas ysis and spirometry but the results was fine...I didn't have any bacterias what so ever in my bacteria tests...So then they gave me ventolin pills and sprays like flixonase and flixotide cause my nose went from runny to stuffy...After two weeks I got a sore throat and a candida yeast infection on my tongue...A week ago they found thet I have helicobacter pillory and i ended with the therapy for it 2 days ago...So now i'm going to make allergy tests, cause i found out that my conditions are worse when there is a sudden storm with a heavy rain...The last doctor I've been to said that the helicobacter can cause allergies too? Can that be possible? Can it be from that? Now I'm still on ventolin and the sprays,and also I was drinking cezera pills for the allergy but today is the first day I;m not taking them cause i got to be clear for several days before the allergy tests...I'm better now but I still have a sore throat, stuffy nose sometimes and my stomach feels funny... And I also forgot to say that I'm taking diazepam and it makes me feel better ...So what can it be? Can anyone tell?

I shake when i get stage fright?

I've been through 2 or 3 best friends in my entire life. (I'm 20) Well, my last best friend and I started becoming friends in 9th grade and continued on until the end of this summer. We were really close. Talked about personal stuff, got tattoos together (not of the same thing, just together) spent almost all of our time together. During this summer though, she changed a lot. She asked if she could go shopping with me on Black Friday and I said sure! But she never texted me back later and basically blew me off. And she's sort of acting immature, making her status on myspace "Going to have so much fun this weekend, etc, etc." I think she is trying to brag? ..I'm not sure. What are some quick simple fundraisers that my softball team and I can use.?

My eye was red for a week.. not itchy, only red. So after it had not gotten any better, I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with pink eye. I got the drops on saturday and began to use them. I have been using them for 4 days straight now and my eye seems perfectly back to normal. I usually wear contacts and wear make up and I haven't been since I was diagnosed. Why is my cat acting like this?

My cat has fleas and we gave her some flea medication, shes been really jumpy and twitchy and shes been getting really angry(this is odd because shes one of the most friendly cats). We thought it was the medicine so we gave her a bath and washed off the medicine, now its just getting worse and shes hiding in small areas and shaking and hissing at random things.

Why is everyone saying that the Jets are lucky?

I think it has to do with the fact that they have managed to beat only one team with a winning record and that would be the Pats. I won't say they are lucky because I don't believe in luck. I just think the Jets are winning games despite their opponents. They have had some tough games this season. The loss against Baltimore was a tough one, in addition to the GB shut out. The Jets might not be as flashy as the Pats or the Steelers, but I think to their credit they are winning. Their defense is still playing well and in the top 3, and their offense is moving the ball down the field. Their rushing game has continued to be sustained with LT and Shone Greene. I think overall, fans are still waiting to see them beat a top tier team. They do have a tough schedule ahead, facing the Steelers, Pats again, Bears, Dolphins, and Bills which should be an easy win. But I think overall they are a good 9-2 team. The only problem I have is, they still have not shown me why they can make the super bowl. You have teams like the Steelers and Pats who are playing at a higher rate than the Jets are. I am in no way saying the Jets aren't good, but they aren't great. They definitely aren't lucky, but I think they have been good enough to win the games they should so far.

About 3 days ago, I was using a sparkler (the firework thing, ya know?) And a chunk of it fell off, and i stepped on it. I cleaned it, put neosporin on it, yadda yadda yadda. NOW, it looks like it's healing well, BUT I keep getting shooting pains in and around the area of the burn. I have been walking on the side of my foot because I don't want to irritate the burn. My best friend is in a relationship, but there's this girl (I wouldn't call her a friend, we just know her) and she's obsessively in love with him. Compared to the DC and N. Va area, Tampa is much much cheaper for housing and has a lot less traffic congestion. We have a much nicer house than relatives who live in the DC area for about the same as what they paid. I would suggest you contact some of the vets in the area using yahoo yellow pages and find out if anyone is hiring before you move. Crime depends upon where you live. If you move to the Carrollwood area of Tampa there is low crime and they have a lot of stuff for kids like sports teams, their own cultural center, etc. Stay away from areas near Florida and Nebraska Aves as the crime is higher there. You are not going to be able to afford to live at the beach. The prices are much higher there. You will also have a long commute to any jobs from there, too. However, most people live close to where they work and go to the beach on the weekends. Floridians don't go to the beach in the winter, that's when the Canadians go, it's too cold for us.

Looking for an old game. You had to get a ball from point A to point B. Along the way you had to insert these contraptions on the map to make the ball do certain things to get it there. Example.. Ball drops from above so you had to put a "trampoline" so that the ball would bounce back up then fall through a basket. I know this 10 year old kid who goes to school with my little sister. I seriously think that objectively he might be the greatest kid in the world. He's super smart, and can already do intermidiate algebra (Seriously, I gave him a test that I took for college, it was mostly complex application problems and he got an 87%) Plus he's MEGA cute, like I've never seen a kid who looks like him. He's also super fast in track and really good in other sports like football and basketball. And he's just hilarious/creative/sweet. I remember we were walking home from the park and a dog just recently hit by a car was dying on the side of the road and he was so empathetic with it he started crying and petting it, and he waited with it until humane society came. He's also very generous, he found out my little cousin didnt have a game system so he gave him his X-Box and all his games. But I've talked to him before and he doesn't believe in God, neither does his dad. It's not his fault, if you were born into his family you probably wouldn't either. He's a good kid, and will grow up to be a good person. And if belief is that important to God, then why doesn't he just show up? If he truly wants to save people. If he truly loves my friend why doesn't he show up? Why do lot's of preachers teach that good people mean nothing and only belief is important? Shouldn't it be the other way around? This is why as I get older, and meet good cool people of all faiths, I can't help but to hate what modern Christianity teaches. I agree. I don't believe in god, but I know there's no way to be sure that some kind of god can't exist. To claim that 100% for sure no god exists at all is just umptuous to me. If you're gonna claim to KNOW for sure that god absolutely does not exist, then you gotta prove that, too, you aren't exempt from proving a positive ertion, just like theists aren't exempt from proving their ertions. Saying you know for sure that no god exists is just another extreme, an equal and opposite to knowing for sure that a god DOES exist. There's a difference in saying "I don't believe so, but I'm aware there's no way to be sure", and saying "I don't believe so, and I know for an absolute fact that I'm right."

What's a Good Skateboard Longboard for a Beginner?

Well, i first began with a sector 9 ala moana which dont get me wrong is INSANE for cruising/carving but now as i progress in becoming a lonboarder, i want a board with more flex (bounciness) and more controlled carving. With your specifications, i would go with a sector 9 aperture longboard which is 200 dollars retailed (150 online in some places) This board is wonderful for carving and cruising around and can probably handle speeds up to 20 mph with loose trucks and maybe 25-30 if you tighten them up and learn how to ride with stability. Also, look at some original longboards if you are just starting The pintail 37, and torpedo 40 both seem to fit your specifications and are great to learn how to ride on. I would get s8 or s10 trucks on them, orangatang or abec 11 retro zigzags on them which would total about 210 dollars. Hope i helped :)

about a week ago i noticed that there was a slightly raised, circular red bump a little smaller than a dime on my right cheek. the surface of the skin there was a bit flaky/scaly, and was sensitive if i poked at it, but i'm sure i would never have noticed it if i didn't happen to brush my fingers over it. I didn't do anything to it for a few days because it wasn't bothering me and i figured it might go away on its own, but is still looked the same, and i decided i wanted to get rid of it. I was thinking that it was ringworm fungus, and my roomate seemed to think that menthol would kill the fungus, so i ended up putting vic's vapor rub on it with a band aid over it (silly i know), which didn't help and made it more red and sensitive, so i finally made an appointment at health services on my college campus. when i showed it to the doctor there, the surface of the skin was now a bit glossy like a blister, so he told me it that was an abrasion or rug burn even though i explained that the bump was definitely not rug burn as i have not dragged my *** across any carpets lately, it literally appeared out of nowhere. regardless, he didn't care and just gave me some anti-bacterial ointment to put on it, and told me it should go away in a few days. it's been a few days and ive still got the stupid thing, like i said it's not bothering me physically - ever since ive had it it will occasionally itch but very faintly, so i can't exactly say that it's itchy - but it just kinda weirds me out and i know that whatever it is, it probably shouldn't be there. so can any one tell me what the heck it is?

Ok so i had a sinus infection, but that's gone. Now i'm getting this horrible severe headaches and no medicine helps. I've taken 6 Excedrin and it won't make it go away. I have high pain tolerance usually, so something has to be bad for me to complain. I also get very nauseous and dizzy when I get the headaches. I get chills and very clammy. I turn really pale, but my head feels like it is burning. The pain is in the front and side part of my head. I'm cold to touch, but my head is hot. I have no fever though. Any ideas? :/

I have an 32GB ipod touch 3G. I got it xmas 2009 and the screen dosent work anymore.
